IDEA FUNDS for INNOVATION

Friend of the CTLT

The IDEA Fund is supported by the NCC Foundation to provide funding for innovative projects that move NCC beyond its current practices.  Funds are available to faculty and staff – collaborations and cross-disciplinary/cross-divisional partnerships are encouraged.

Projects that will be supported by the fund involve Innovation, Data, Experimentation, and Action

Guiding Question: What good idea needs to move from innovation to implementation?

Innovation

Guiding question: What do we need to do differently to thrive?

Data

Guiding question: What information do we need to collect to inform our future?

IDEA Brainstorming

These sessions will be open to anyone (faculty, staff, admin) who wants to talk about innovation.  What new ideas are they thinking about?  What is up and coming in their field that should be on NCC’s radar?  What idea do they have that aren’t fully realized that could benefit from sharing with other innovative thinkers?  IDEA Brainstorming sessions will let us build off one another’s ideas – getting our creative juices flowing – thinking about NCC’s future.
